Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Snowflake.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into Snowflake.
- Optimize performance and efficiency of Snowflake data warehouse through tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including data models, ETL processes, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in Snowflake and data engineering.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Snowflake data platform.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake SQL extensions.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, storage, and compute resources.
- Proficiency in data modeling and schema design in Snowflake.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
