Visual FoxPro Developer – remote working
This leading brand name are looking for an experienced Visual FoxPro Developer to join their development team where you will be working on their legacy Foxpro system, application development and integration into external systems & platforms.

Responsibilities for this VFP developer role:

  • Maintain code source control using Source Safe / TFS / GIT.
  • Possess a strong grasp of IT and the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and departments to ensure new and existing systems meet business requirements.
  • Analyse and comprehend requirements, documenting technical specifications as needed and obtaining end user sign-off.
  • Develop and adhere to agreed-upon working plans, delivering work on time and resolving unforeseen issues promptly.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent experience in Visual FoxPro version 9.
  • Understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Transact SQL Stored Procedures (T-SQL).
  • Knowledge of source control systems such as Source Safe / TFS / GIT.
