Overview of role:  You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of data systems, optimising performance, managing ETL processes, and ensuring compliance. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams for automating tasks and troubleshoot issues. This is a critical role in ensuring that data systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives. Whilst combining technical expertise with strong analytical and communication skills to drive value from data assets and support data-driven decision-making processes.

Location: Central London - Hybrid

Salary: £85,000 + 20% bonus (discretionary) + Pension

Experience required:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in data warehousing
• Experience working in regulated environment
• Expertise in physical modelling, ETL, ELT, CDC, semantic layers, rules engines, and reconciliation principles
• High level knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake, and AWS
• Skilled in implementing monitoring, automated testing, reporting design, dashboarding, and data feeds

Nice to have / Desirable:

• Previously worked in a regulated / Financial Services / Insurance environment
