Test Engineer – Python – Swindon - Circa £65,000 DoE
Our client, a much-admired advanced engineering business, is seeking a Python Test Engineer to write test scripts for applications involving both software and hardware. They are specialists in creating advanced engineering solutions for clients on an international scale.

Our client, a much-admired advanced engineering business, is seeking a Python Test Engineer to write test scripts for applications involving both software and hardware. They are specialists in creating advanced engineering solutions for clients on an international scale.
Responsibilities:
- Create automated test scripts in Python for system tests.
- Support the verification and validation with collaboration with principal members of staff.
- Provide support on test systems around software and hardware applications.
- Manage defect detection, tracking and resolution through JIRA and integrated toolchains.
- Present reports and findings to the engineering team, management, and external customers.
- Write clear technical reports, including test strategies, test plans, test cases and incident reports.
Experience
- 5 years’ experience designing system tests
- Expert knowledge of developing test applications in Python.
- Experience in any of the following industries desirable: Engineering, Med Tech, Advanced Engineer, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence
- Experience in developing test scripts for automated system testing.

- Salary Circa £65,000 DoE
