We are currently recruiting for Head Data to join a unique business based in the Cotswold's. This company is one of the most sustainable farm and food retailers in the UK, and is now seeking a skilled Head of Data to lead the data strategy design, implementation, and maintenance.
Ideal candidate balances data expertise, analytic's, and business acumen to drive data-driven initiatives.

The Role:
- Design and develop a comprehensive data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Define and enforce data modelling standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for data management, integration, and analytic's.
- Design and optimise data integration processes.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand reporting needs.
- Proven experience in Data Engineering/Architecture or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modelling techniques, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools and languages.
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies such as Azure
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data security and privacy principles.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
