3rd Line IT Support Engineer


Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE.


Location: Kings Lynn

Connect IT have partnered with a leading IT support and MSP provider in the East of England. Our client are looking to expand their team due to service demand so it’s a very exciting time to join the company. They is looking for a self-motivated support engineer who wants to learn and continue to advance their technical knowledge.


Skills 

  • 5 years’ experience in IT Support.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Windows OS Servers.
  • Brilliant customer-facing skills and phone manners.
  • Experience with Azure Installation.
  • SharePoint Administration.
  • Experience with Network Installation.
  • CCNA/CompTIA Network+
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework.
  • Experience with UTM/Watchguard


Responsibilities 

  • Deliver comprehensive IT support to clients (2nd/3rd line)
  • Proactively monitor client infrastructure using RMM solutions
  • Manage customer issues from initial report to resolution, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Continuously document processes and implement improvements.
  • Leading customer IT projects.
  • Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying potential problems.
  • Implementing new systems and upgrades.
  • Maintaining and optimizing server infrastructure and network configurations.
