This rapidly growing organisation is seeking a proactive and analytical individual to join their team as a Data Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing their data capabilities, setting up analytical environments, and driving informed decision-making processes using tools such as Power BI and SQL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide support in generating reports and insights.
  • Utilise Power BI and SQL to analyse data and create dashboards and reports.
  • Take ownership of implementing and maintaining data processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management.
  • Lead the implementation of a data warehouse, integrating it into the business and overseeing its management going forward.
  • Support the growth of the data team by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and contributing to team development.
  • Utilise financial services experience, particularly in handling Credit Risk Assessment (CRA) data, to inform data analysis and decision-making processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven 3-5 years of experience with SQL and Power BI, with a strong ability to manipulate and analyse data effectively.
  • Previous experience in financial services, particularly in working with Credit Risk Assessment (CRA) data.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into insights that can be understood by the wider business.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to seize opportunities and drive initiatives forward.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
