As a Cyber Security Assurance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in their Technology & Transformation department, ensuring that digital infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and future-proof. You will shape the future of cybersecurity and make a difference in their digital world.

Your Mission:

Reporting to the Senior IT Security Manager, you will be the linchpin of cybersecurity operations, providing expert guidance and assurance to mitigate risks effectively. Your primary goal? To set the bar high for security standards while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and provide specialised advice on security issues for new business proposals, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines for robust security operations, driving adherence and alignment across the business.
• Lead the development of supplier chain security agreements, ensuring comprehensive coverage and risk management.
• Oversee governance practices independently, ensuring accountability and transparency in security management.
• Architect and deliver security aspects within projects, championing adherence to security principles from inception to implementation.
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments of product security architectures, ensuring resilience across diverse infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate incident management responses, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of security measures.
• Deputise for the Senior IT Security Manager as needed, demonstrating leadership and expertise in cybersecurity matters.

Education, Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Expert knowledge of security data tools, information security controls, and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing security assessments, technical testing, and incident response.
• Technical proficiency in security technologies such as Microsoft XDR stack, SIEMs, vulnerability management tools, and more.
• Previous exposure to enterprise networking and infrastructure technologies.
• Hold a relevant cyber security qualification/certification
