Junior Data Engineer

Due to growth and 2024 pipeline - a highly rewarding Cardiff based organisation creating software for multinational clients, are now seeking a new Junior Data Engineer.
You’ll work on challenging projects in a fast-moving environment; collaborating in a multidisciplinary team, and continuously developing your skills through a company committed to making the most of your talent and potential.
As part of the data migrations team; you’ll participate in meeting to discuss solutions for customer data migrations, you’ll analyse data extracts from customers, participate in migration planning and execution, and develop scripts to enable data transformation; enabling customer data to be uploaded onto the core platforms... We are seeking individuals who whilst making fast progression – are confident to ask questions and articulate what help is and guidance is needed to help succeed as a Data Engineer.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of a scripting/programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, Python
- Desire to learn and challenge yourself
- Analytical problem-solving ability
Desirable:
- Knowledge of database structures and concepts
