We are currently seeking an Application Security Engineer to reinforce our client's cyber security framework. Reporting directly to the Cyber Security & Compliance Director, this role involves ensuring robust cyber security measures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with software engineering teams to promote best practices and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing the company's cyber security strategy.
• Ensure timely documentation and review of security policies.
• Conduct ongoing security threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Integrate security measures into the development process.
• Design and implement security training programs based on identified needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert, addressing security concerns.
• Evaluate and integrate appropriate security tools, monitoring for issues.
• Define key performance and risk indicators for software security.
• Review software designs to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Manage threat models to identify and mitigate risks during software development.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• Familiarity with industry-standard application security frameworks.
• Proficiency in security methodologies and industry standards.
• Experience implementing secure development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with security tooling.
• Knowledge of cloud security tooling.
