Software Development Team Leader required by my market leading SaaS client.  If you have a proven background of promoting best practice, focusing on enabling your team of Developers to produce the highest levels of software, ideally within a .net / C# environment, then you are going to want to find out more!  This role would is available on a hybrid basis, with candidates needing to be able to attend their North East office three times a week.

The Opportunity
As a Software Development Team Lead you will manage a team of C# / .net based Developers within a product focused environments.  While you will not be actively involved in day to day coding, you would be expected to be involved with such duties as technical code reviews, promoting best practice to ensure clean, scalable code, as well as spearheading the technical development of your team.  Typical other duties would involve (but not limited to) 

• Working closely with Product Managers, ensuring required technical strategy needs are delivered
• Promoting continuous improvement and technical excellence for software coding, testing & deployment
• Manage you teams' growth and personal development, helping to ensure delivery targets are met
• Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the business - this will be mainly focused on other technical / development teams, but having the desire to promote visibility of your team is highly encouraged.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate not only strong technical knowledge and experience, but perhaps more importantly the ability to be able to maximise excellent from your team.

• You'll have a passion for delivering robust, simple software - promoting easily readable output, managing complexity and issues when required - strong documentation is required at all levels
• You'll have a background of organising & motivating your team to focus and deliver as required
• You'll take the lead to ensure any problems are resolved with the minimum of disruption to development
• You'll take pride in your team growing and exceeding expectations under your guidance and mentorship
