Job Title: IT Support Engineer

We are a leading MSP based in Wolverhampton and we are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems and networks. You will be required to diagnose, maintain, and repair IT related equipment and systems, in line with our company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems and networks.
• Diagnose and repair IT related equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, security and availability.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Perform routine network maintenance, including backups and system upgrades.

Technical Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, Networking protocols and LAN/WAN networks.
• Configuring & Supporting Microsoft 365 security technologies
• Experience with cloud-based services such as Hosted Exchange & Hosted Desktop.
• Server Management utilising Hyper-V or VM Ware.
• Knowledge of the Veeam range of backup and replication solutions.
• VOIP
• ITIL standards in an MSP environment.
