Product Owner

Location: Hybrid London or Birmingham

Salary: Up to £55,000 dependant on experience

My client, a global Fintech organisation is looking for a skilled Product Owner to join their team. You will need to work closely with implementation consultants in documenting, deploying and configuring on solutions both internally and on customer sites. You will work together with the development and quality assurance team members in order to deliver high quality software, on time and within budget. You will also need to be responsible for and participate in the full development process from requirements gathering, analysis and development to testing and documentation, as well as manage the backlog and define user stories. You must have strong understanding around corporate actions, excellent reporting and accounting skills. The right candidate will manage great client and portfolio accounts.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• You will need to possess strong leadership skills, enthusiasm, pride and a "can-do" attitude.
• Passion for quality, you must ensure you use high standards, and you aim to achieve them
• Degree in (Business) Economics or IT, or equivalent through experience.
• Creation of functional analyses based upon a high-level scope definition.
• Organize and participate in regular customer status meetings.
• Handle customer calls and incidents in collaboration with involved parties.
• Translate customer business requirements into product specifications detailing enhancements and extensions to the product.
• Represent the company being a key point of contact in relation with customers.
