Senior Cloud Engineer with extensive Azure infrastructure provisioning and automation tooling is sought by a well known FinTech based in Birmingham city centre. With extensive investment into a platform upgrade program this Senior Cloud Engineer will be given scope to play a lead role in ensuring the infrastructure runs at optimal level whilst being offered a unique level of autonomy to deploy new cloud solutions in line with the company's commitment to the latest technology.

On a day to day basis this Cloud Engineer will be responsible for supporting the companies Azure cloud offering so previous experience maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure is a must alongside the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring any performance bottlenecks are well documented and reported to the relevant teams.

This Senior Cloud Engineer based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

- Experience building, maintaining and supporting Azure cloud environments (compute, Storage etc)
- Solid Azure DevOps understanding
- Any IaC exposure would be a plus - Terraform, ARM etc
- Demonstrable experience producing technical documentation in line with industry compliance
- Experience managing and resolving performance bottlenecks and disaster recovery protocols
- Extensive internal stakeholder management
- Passion for technology and the drive to keep improving skills

This Senior cloud Engineer will receive the following benefits:

- Starting salary of between £75,000 - £85,000
