Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a talented Business Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis initially for 9 months. As a Business Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in the exciting field of risk management within the financial services sector. You will play a crucial role in supporting the risk and control functions of their team.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and interpret complex data sets, using statistical tools and techniques to extract actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain comprehensive risk reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports to key stakeholders.
Review existing risk management processes and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor and evaluate risk indicators, providing recommendations to optimise risk and control frameworks.
Stay updated with industry regulations and emerging trends in risk management.

🔎 Skills and Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and practises within the financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in data analysis, using tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
Experience in developing risk reporting frameworks and KPIs.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practises.

💼 Contract Details:

This is a temporary position with a daily rate ranging from £300 to £350 inside IR35 via umbrella). The client offers a hybrid working model (3 days ONSITE), providing you with the flexibility to work remotely and from their modern office space in Belfast. The contract length is 9 months, giving you a great opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to their dynamic team.

🎓 Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in risk management or data analysis are a plus.
