Team – Prospect, Advisor and Employer
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week. Full or Part time considered.

As Product Designer you will be responsible for designing and shaping unique, user-centric products and experiences. You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to rapidly prototype, test and iterate. Working collaboratively with product, content design and business stakeholders you will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction that helps to achieve the overall journey’s vision.
Key Actions
- Responsible for rapid ideation and reiterate on designs and concepts for user experiences across employer and member
- Able to collaborate closely with cross-functional team (consisting of product, content design, development) as well as business stakeholders
- Pioneer innovative thinking whilst being solution focused. Must have an excellent understanding of the latest UX/CX/UI best practices on both App and Web and a very good understand of market trends, insight and industry standards
- Create wireframes, prototypes, style guides and user flows with the ability to effectively communicate your ideas using any of these methods
- Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall product roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
- Good grasp and knowledge of Design Systems and be able to work on both App and Web UX/UI
- Work closely with the wider design team, content design and Brand Director to ensure brand guidelines and UX principles are adhered too
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Digital specialist with a proven track record working in native apps and web
- High level of understanding of web development practices
- Strong understanding of digital analytics and conversion rate optimisation processes
- Strong ability to refine and prioritise design backlog in fast-moving environment
- Proficient at writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
- Excellent delivery and execution of sprint rituals and releases
- Experience of using work management tools such as Jira & Confluence
- Able to front and facilitate meetings (e.g. lead workshops to elicit requirements) within business and technical teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
- Able to produce high quality supporting artefacts to assist the team in development of design
- Outstanding team working and collaboration skills
