IT Application Support Engineer County Meath €35-40k
My client based in County Meath and easily commutable from Carrickmacross, Kells, Newry & Dundalk has an immediate requirement to recruit an additional Junior IT Application Engineer to join an established team providing support for enterprise level applications.
This is a varied role and you will be involved in a number of activities from technical support, business analysis, UAT and go-live support across company wide, ERP & Power BI platforms.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in computer science and ambitious to further their career in Application Support.
Job Responsibilities
- Learn about the Group Applications
- Providing technical support to technical and non-technical users
- Upgrade, test and deploy new features
- Incident management
Key Requirements
- Degree education in computer sciences
- Experience with Microsoft services such as Sharepoint and Power BI
- Excellent software troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of Windows O/S and associated technologies
- Comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical users
- A driving license is a must
