Security Engineer – Stoke-on-Trent

One of our security focused clients in Stoke is looking for a Security Engineer to join their growing team. 

Great opportunity for someone to work in the security, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of service operations including monitoring and maintenance of systems and networks. Implementing security controls & procedures and responding to incidents.

Performing compliance checks and IT check schedules against internal component against the services,  support with the development and implementation of security policies and procedures , monitor and analysis of security to detect any potential threats. Ideally looking for someone with experience of working with SIEM solutions – ideally Log Rhythm – but training can be provided.

Techstack: Vmware, Virtualization, IE server, network protocols, operating systems, cloud platforms.

This is working for an excellent organisation with a big training budget, so there will be lots of opportunities for personal & professional development.

Due to the nature of the business our client operates in - SC clearance would be advantageous, or looking for someone who is happy to obtain it further down the line.
