Market leader within their industry require a Product owner to take responsibility for the management, development and implementation of products and services from cradle to grave where you will use your experience to act as a product champion, providing advice and direction in specialist areas within specific product of a wider domain. This specialism typically includes product development activities that include design, deployment of software product configurations into new or existing software environments / platforms, testing and user training. Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure they understand business requirements for the delivery of ongoing value within your relevant products you will maintain a deep understanding of products whilst building awareness of emerging technologies available in the sector you will contribute to planning processes to evolve products and ensure services are understood and align with the IT strategies.

As a Product owner you will have a good understanding of business processes for which products are designed, IT knowledge and an excellent understanding of how the technical specialism relates to other areas of IT and how it impacts on our business functions, have a logical and analytical approach to problem solving and be proficient in written communication and requirements building. Ideally have a Business Analysis and/or Project Management and Change management understanding, stakeholder management and knowledge of the FMCG industry.

Desirable skills and experience includes:- MS SQL, Report Writing (SSRS, Crystal Reports, BI Solutions), an understanding of the development tools used to produce the software products and their system interfaces, SDLC / software testing, knowledge in Preactor, RedZone or in a CMMS
