What You'll Do:

  •  Lead with Passion: Inspire a culture of creativity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among our talented team members.
  • Mentorship and Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to our software development team, empowering them to reach new heights in their professional growth.
  • Technical Excellence: Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on web development using JavaScript, PHP & React, while staying at the forefront of industry trends and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with our clients, proactively understanding their needs and proposing innovative solutions to exceed their expectations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with HR and senior leaders on recruitment, onboarding, and development processes, while effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring:

  •  Proven hands-on web development experience with JavaScript, PHP & React.
  • Previous experience mentoring or supervising software development teams. 
  • Proficiency in git version control. 
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. 
  • Experience in a consultancy environment is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of/experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS, is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Mastery in one or more leading programming languages and cutting-edge development technologies. 
  • Extensive expertise and hands-on involvement in software development methodologies, cutting-edge tools, and frameworks. 
  • Proficiency in quality assurance processes, conducting thorough code reviews, and ensuring compliance with coding and documentation standards. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, adept at navigating technical hurdles and delivering efficient solutions.

  • Inspirational leadership qualities, adept at motivating, managing, and mentoring development teams to achieve outstanding results. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, ensuring seamless project execution. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, prioritising quality and precision. 
  • Capable of thriving under pressure, adept at overseeing development across multiple projects and clients simultaneously. 
  • Outstanding team player, characterised by a proactive and positive attitude towards collaboration.

  • Competitive salary negotiable up to £75k. Depends on experience.
