£45,000 - £60,000/annum

Our client an MSP is looking to recruit an IT Manager on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brand new position to the business due to business growth. This role will be to manage a team of IT professionals who provide support to other businesses. But you will also get involved in 3rd line support and be involved in projects supporting large and small businesses with their IT requirements. Reporting directly into the MD you will become a key person within the business working with the MD but also looking at business strategies going forward.

Job Role: -

  • Day-to-day management of a team ensuring work is completed on time and adhering to SLA’s.
  • Development and upskilling existing staff to benefit the business but also the employees.
  • Business infrastructure, networking, storage, and compute
  • Database management and administration, Security implementation, encryption, and Data Loss Prevention
  • Infrastructure and application capacity, performance and availability monitoring
  • Backups and Disaster Recovery, Server virtualization
  • Proven Continual Service Improvement experience
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Azure services
  • Plus, ad hoc duties.

To be considered for this role you MUST have worked in a senior IT position and managed a team but also you MUST have a wide skill base and knowledge of IT systems and configurations etc.

This is a 100% office-based role Hybrid working will not be considered. You MUST be able to drive as you will go on client visits as and when needed. Normally working hours Monday to Friday. Excellent salary on offer and is dependent on experience
