Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – M365/Azure - Fully Remote

As the Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for implementing critical IT Infrastructure systems and services across my client.

You will be working in a small team and providing solutions to escalated technical issues as well as providing a high level of technical expertise to the business. You will take ownership of and implement new technical solutions (both strategic and tactical) ensuring effective working across the full range of services provided by the business. You will liaise with 3rd party suppliers and external contractors, and manage escalated issues logged by the service desk.

You must have extensive cloud and infrastructure experience covering Azure, VMware, MS Server and M365; with a broad technical skill set including but not limited to Windows 10/11, Group Policies/Compliance policies, Exchange, Identity, Storage, Security, Networking, Telephony and CCTV.

Please note this role is fully remote with some travel to sites across England and Wales.

Experience required,

• Proven track record in IT infrastructure management and support to an enterprise-level group
• Extensive MS Azure support and management experience
• Expert level Windows Server knowledge and support
• Extensive experience in the management and support of the M365 applications portfolio
• Advanced expertise in managing Windows domain environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Services, etc.).
• A thorough understanding of modern IT Infrastructure technologies and tools including Cloud delivery, M365, networking, telephony and security systems
• Security tooling and concepts
• Identity Management experience
• Good understanding of Networks
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships with IT teams, IT users and third-party vendors
• Experience working to ITIL best practice, ITIL Foundation qualified (desirable)
• Flexibility to be able to travel and work out of hours where required

My client are offering a salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience plus benefits
