Senior Electronics Engineer – Bristol - £65k – PCB Design, Altium, Motors/Controllers

Location: Bristol (Hybrid working available)

Our client, a cutting-edge technology firm at the forefront of innovation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bristol. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing electronic components capable of withstanding the challenges posed by harsh environments, including high pressure, high vibration, and high temperature conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Electronic Component Design: Lead the design and development of electronic components tailored for deployment in harsh environments, ensuring reliability and durability under extreme conditions.

+ Research and Development: spearhead a new product range, including R&D ad testing

+ Testing and Validation: Establish rigorous testing protocols to validate the performance and resilience of electronic components in simulated harsh environments.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and materials scientists, to ensure seamless integration of electronic components into larger systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

+ Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 

+ Hands-on experience with tools for schematics and PCB layout.

+ Expertise in harsh environments, encompassing high temperatures, shock, and vibration

+ New product development experience – R&D and testing

+ Understanding of Motors/controllers, especially brushless DC

+ Knowledge of Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC)
