Our IT Service Delivery team have an opening for an experienced Windows Engineer to join them in supporting customer and internal projects across the South West of the UK (with the occasional international trip, too).
We’re expecting that you’ll be looking for a team where you will be respected as an expert in your field, where you can drive change and see that you’re making a difference.

How you’ll support us
Working primarily at customer and MASS sites based across the South West, you’ll have a range of responsibilities, depending on the need. From meeting with customer stakeholders to advise, taking the lead on technical solutions, systems design and solutions architecture, to providing 3rd line support to our customers and working closely with our other engineers. Extended stays away may be required on a number of occasions throughout the year.

We’re expecting that you’ve done this role before, so you’ll know how to do it whilst spinning multiple plates:

Essential Knowledge:
  • Windows Desktop and Server Operating systems
  • Working and provisioning secure computer systems on both physical and virtualized hardware
  • Windows Server installation and configuration including PKI, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core on-premises Microsoft products such as Exchange and Skype for Business
  • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Certificate authorities
  • TCP/IP and interconnecting networks
Ideally:
  • Certified to a MCP standard or 4 years’ experience working with Windows Server platforms
Our non-negotiables:
  • Due to the highly secure environment that our work is conducted in, you must be a UK National, eligible to work and live in the UK and be eligible to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government DV Security Clearance
  • Full UK Driving Licence
