As an Azure Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our clients cloud storage environment, designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure solutions.

This can be a long term contract or staff engagement within an Enterprise environment and can be based hybrid or on-site in Aberdeen

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing Azure storage solutions using Azure Blob, Azure Data Lake, Azure Files, and Azure SQL Database
• Ensuring the security, scalability, performance, and reliability of the cloud storage solutions
• Developing and maintaining scripts, tools, and pipelines for automation, deployment, and monitoring of the cloud storage solutions
• Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the business requirements
• Communicating effectively with the business customers and stakeholders and providing training and support on the cloud storage solutions
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud storage and Azure services

• Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or a similar role working on cloud storage solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure storage services, especially Azure Blob & ADLS, Azure File Shares, and their features, capabilities, and limitations.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, GoLang or Bash.
• Experience with Azure security and identity services, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
• Experience with Azure networking and connectivity services.
• Azure certification, such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-500, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver training and support.
