Cookpad is a food tech company building a community platform for people to share recipe ideas and cooking tips. Our mission is to make everyday cooking fun. Cookpad started out in Japan in 1997 and is currently the largest recipe sharing community in the world with around 6 million recipes. There are 90 million people on average in over 70 countries and 25 different languages using Cookpad every month.

We are looking for interns who are cooking-savvy and understand and feel passionate about the empowering force of home cooking. The role will be for up to three months and office-based in Bristol with some hybrid working.

Requirements

Your role will be to attract users to the Cookpad app/website from countries including the UK, USA, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. You will create and distribute valuable, relevant and consistent content across platforms.

Key tasks will include:

• Constantly update knowledge about dishes, ingredients, cooking trends and cooking issues 
• Represent Cookpad brand with authenticity and integrity in every content creation, interaction with users and third-parties
• Enhance user search experience on Cookpad by identifying issues and solving them
• Work closely with the regional leads
• Support other team members with online initiatives

What we are looking for:

• Deep understanding of our user behaviours - you will be an active cook and enjoy cooking.
• Analytical skills, logical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
• Organised and detail-oriented people
• High level communication skills in written and spoken English to manage both user communications and cooking related content for articles and blogs
