PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

As the Senior Website Performance Manager within our Digital Product Growth team, your mission is multifaceted. You will spearhead the transformation of our digital presence, focusing on the ii website and mobile app, to achieve unparalleled excellence in both commercial and technical aspects. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that every digital touchpoint with our users reflects our commitment to delivering outstanding experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and inspire a large team of experts (10+ colleagues) - including SEO and CRO managers, copywriters, content writers, editors & designers, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.
  • Formulate and own the strategy, setting high-impact KPIs, for optimizing on-site conversion rates, both on the website and mobile app.
  • Maintain the ii website and mobile app content, ensuring it's not only up-to-date and relevant but also compliant with regulations.
  • Prioritize and oversee SEO, technical site health, and mobile app performance, making them the cornerstones of our digital success.
  • Oversee CRO including innovation, split testing and personalization initiatives
  • Take charge of approving financial promotions and copy, and ensure they align with our brand and regulatory standards.
  • Be the driving force behind the briefing, approvals, and audit process for website and mobile app content, maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product, Commercial, Technology, UX and Data, to ensure alignment and efficient collaboration.
  • Proactively address challenges and blockers to website and mobile app performance and functionality.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects and briefs concurrently, ensuring they align with overarching business objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, nurturing their growth, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Articulate the value and benefits of website and mobile app roadmap items, gaining stakeholder buy-in to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Continuously monitor, analyse, and interpret website and mobile app data, ensuring optimal commercial performance and swift issue resolution.
  • Cultivate and manage key relationships with third-party partners and vendors.
  • Rigorously monitor and audit marketing content to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold the first line of Risk/Compliance defence by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal processes.
  • Make informed risk decisions, challenge management recommendations, and promote change through Root Cause Analysis from Risk events completed.

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Profound expertise in CMS usage.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO and CRO best practices, trends, and technology.
  • Experience in data analysis using analytics platforms such as GA and Hotjar.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices.
  • Proven track record of effective people management.
  • Exceptional ability to derive meaningful business insights from data across various platforms.
  • Skilled in senior stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a regulated environment (desired but not essential).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
