As the DevOps team lead, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and governance of CICD pipelines, application Configuration Management (CM) and Infrastructure as code (IaC), to efficiently and accurately manage CAB’s AWS estate and the application hosted within.

You will work closely with Developers, Architects, and Information Security to ensure that deliveries meet their requirements and that production environments conform to industry standards.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance, with an emphasis on producing simple, secure, maintainable pipelines, CM and IaC implementations that meet the requirements of a variety of stakeholders.
• Contribute to and govern guard rails that assist the team in producing implementations to a defined pattern.
• Install a culture of continuous improvement, both in the implementations delivered and the practices of the team.
• Help with cross team discussions and support other teams to work with your products.
• Partake in backlog refinement and prioritisation of work.
• Hands-on design and implementation of pipelines, CM and IaC.
• Line management, goal setting, end of year review.
