Role purpose

The purpose of the Enterprise Architect is to provide technical leadership and strategic thinking across the practice, with overall responsibility for the technical quality of the Practice, across pre-sales and delivery engagements.  The Enterprise Architect will also act as a mentor and leader to the practice delivery team and will be responsible for the quality of technical design.  This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and client engagement skills to deliver high-value solutions that drive digital transformation and business success for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the Business Applications Office of the CTO to achieve the overall objectives of the company by driving high standards of work and continuous improvement in process and quality of delivery.
  • Working as part of the Practice leadership team and in alignment with the Practice Director and Head of Sectors to ensure delivery quality.
  • Provide technical leadership across all projects inside the Practice, including the management of technical direction and strategy.
  • Responsible for the adherence to the Governance processes to ensure quality, control and application of best practice.
  • Ensure that the proposed architecture adheres to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design cohesion and assurance across all Practice projects.
  • Drive automation standards within clients.
  • Lead and mentor the Practice delivery resources throughout the lifecycle of client projects.
  • Provide thought leadership to prospective customers during the sales cycle.
  • Work with the Presales function to ensure appropriate technical assurance throughout the sales cycle.
