This role is with a major public sector organisation based in Edinburgh. The organisation requires an experienced data engineer to aid in the creation of a data warehouse which will enhance their data analysis capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed
The following skills are essential for this role:
- Python
- PostgreSql
- REST APIs
- Modern DevOps, CI/CD practices: Docker, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, CDK, Cloud Formation
- Experience in SQL, data transformation and analysis
- Experience implementing data ETLs, data streaming systems, data integration solutions
The following skills are desirable for this role:
- Data warehousing
- OpenShift
- TDD
