IT Support Engineer – 3-month Contract – York – 4 days a week
My client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide IT support for a 3-month contract working 4 days a week.
The Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues across 3 locations (York, Leeds, Edinburgh) with the support of a central Team and Vendors/Partners. The expectation is that the Engineer will have a solution focused attitude and be able to prioritise critical tasks to ensure the smooth running of the customer facing side of the business.
Please note that this role is not a full work week, but rather 4 days’ worth of work per week.
IT Support Engineer Requirements
- Windows 10/11 – Administration & Support
- Microsoft 365 troubleshooting – Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with Password resets, software updates and support and hardware support.
- Microsoft Office applications (M365) – Administration & Support
- AV – Audio Visual telephony issues and setup.
- Basic Networking: DHCP/DNS, Wi-Fi configuration
- Active Directory experience – group policy – add/remove users.
- Triaging and escalating.
- Excellent Diagnostic and resolution skills
- Possible travel to Leeds and Edinburgh
The successful IT Support Engineer is required onsite in York, 4 days a week for the duration of the 3-month contract. There is also possible travel to Leeds and Edinburgh
