Principal Accountabilities:
- Activities will focus on the internal MRP system to set up, maintain and monitor site KPI’s
- Support and deliver key inputs and outputs that drive the business
- Develop and deliver data to drive action and improvements through digital transformation.
- Work effectively across multiple departments to deliver key metrics
- Working within a framework of delivering a Service Level based on set criteria
- Once trained, the apprentice will be expected to deal with all MRP and system-based activities analysing issues, identifying potential risk, asking pertinent questions, communicating with all site users and take activities to closure (resolution)
- Any activity the apprentice cannot resolve they will pass to their line manager.
- Gardner’s key objective is to ensure all jobs are allocated effectively, worked on and resolved in a timely and effective manner

Specific Attributes:
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems XP/7/8 & 10
- A key part of this role will be interacting and communicating with end users, it is essential you can communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to prioritise work based on criticality ensuring timescales are met
- Good Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Ability to resolve issues logically using proven methods, self-motivated with a desire to learn
- Do not be afraid to ask for help, you will be learning on the job so it is essential you ask when you find difficulties
MPS and Digital Transformation Objectives:
- Educate respective users to use and adhere to MRP systems and guidelines.
- Provide prompt, accurate technical and systems support to all users within Gardner Aerospace
- Advise and create suitable upgrades where required to streamline the business
- Create site specific documentation for all key systems
- Monitor and maintain site strategic buffer levels
- Maintain and monitor site inventory
- Ensure site capacity is up to date and reviewed against forward load
- Monitor work to list adherence throughout the site.
- Maintain MRP system settings
- Maintain effective backup processes and alert of any issues as they arise
- Control Production Documentation to ensure the correct information is supplied to the shop floor
