Technical Account Manager (MSP)

Salary/Rate:
£50,000 - £55,000/annum Realistic OTE £60k+ (uncapped)

Major IT and Digital have partnered with a leading managed services business on an exclusive arrangement.

As a company my client has achieved ISO status and Microsoft Gold Partner accreditations by delivering excellent customer quality and high end service delivery.

The business also operates UK wide working across a number of SME’s and large Corporations with rapid company growth plans taking the business from it’s current £40m T/O to almost £100m within the next 12 to 18 months.

As a result of this expansion plan, my client has immediate requirements for a Technical Account Manager to cover a number of client accounts across the Cambridge and Hertford area.

Ideal Candidate

The right candidate fit would be someone currently working in a similar technical account manager role ideally from industry / MSP market or someone currently working within a technical role and looking to develop a more client centric consultative approach.

The successful candidate will be taking on responsibility for managing and developing a technical and strategic roadmap for all clients customer base covering both IT and operational processes to include infrastructure, security and software to increase recurring revenues within these client accounts.

Keys requirement for this position requires working closely with the commercial account management team and to build on client relationships through strong  communication and technical expertise.

**A car and licence is a must for this role!

Skills and responsibilities:

  • Ability to conduct technical reviews and technology road mapping for each client allocation and to identify value propositions
  • Ability to work with commercial, project and service delivery teams to drive consistent growth from within our client base
  • Respond to inbound technical escalations that relate to allocated client accounts
  • Regular face to face contact with customer accounts and further developing long-term client relationships
  • Collaborating with clients to develop and implement process improvements through the use of technology
  • Apply own learning for personal and professional development

  • Ability to strategically advise on IT MSP technical solutions that deliver value
  • Ability to present compelling technical solutions in simple terms to a variety of stakeholders
  • Full Driving License required to cover the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire area

Benefits:
