Position: IT Field Engineer
As a result of our continued growth and recent contract acquisitions, we are expanding our team of Field Support Engineers across the UK. This presents an excellent opportunity for an adept field engineer seeking a role that offers exposure to diverse EPOS, I.T., and Network Hardware platforms within various customer settings, including Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Retail, Healthcare, and Fuel Stations.
Provide SLA-driven EPOS & IT Support to Hospitality, Retail & Healthcare establishments.
Diagnose and resolve EPoS, Networking, and IT issues.
Handle IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) operations for EPoS, IT & Networking devices.
Undertake project-related tasks involving AV, Digital Signage, and Customer Roll-outs.
Offer on-site support services for EPoS, I.T., and Network/Comm’s infrastructure, hardware, and software.
Collaborate with line management to ensure adequate local spare parts inventory for efficient resolution during site visits.
Work with team members to consistently achieve regional SLA targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Uphold the company's reputation by delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating pride in workmanship.
Efficiently manage workload to meet SLAs.
Participate in the Standby Rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate proficiency in:
In-depth knowledge of EPoS systems and connectivity.
Expertise in diagnosing and rectifying networking issues.
Strong fault-finding abilities.
Exceptional customer-facing skills.
Timely and accurate completion of paperwork.
Flexibility regarding workdays and hours, including availability for occasional out-of-hours work.
Proficiency in Cabling Infrastructure (Cat5, Cat6, Wireless, etc.).
Full driving license required.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) preferred but not mandatory.
