Our client are a family run business based in beautiful rural Warwickshire who own a number of Residential and Holiday parks in the Midlands and Wales. Due to a company reorganisation, we are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team, but with weekly travel required to our other Parks across the UK.

The main skills required:

  • Hyper V
  • Exchange 2016
  • Server 2016
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Enterprise Antivirus
  • PRTG network monitor
  • Ubiquiti Unifi and UISP wifi
  • Omada wifi
  • Network management (eg VLAN's)
  • Backup solutions
  • Zoho CRM administration
  • Proofpoint
  • Cloud phone system administration
  • Firewall experience (Sonicwall, PFSense) VPNs Client and site-to-site
  • Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, PHP, CCTV and HTML
  • To be able to do cabling
  • Website CMS/Wordpress management

Duties:

  • Duties include repair and maintenance of desktops and servers
  • Firewall and switch management
  • Maintenance of the network for all locations
  • Installation of operating systems and software
  • Update and Patch management
  • Training of staff in relevant software
  • Exchange management
  • Management of 3rd party IT services
  • Responsible for IT security and GDPR
  • Active directory, Group policy, DHCP, DNS, Hyper V
  • VPN's
  • Enterprise antivirus and network security
  • PTP wireless
  • Maintenance and installation of Customer wifi and networks at parks
  • Management of backups
  • Administration of CRM
  • Administration of Sales database
  • Management of IT staff - currently 1 member of staff
  • On call for IT issues - this could include "out of hours"
  • Management of CCTV camera systems

Core skills/requirements

  • A number of years' experience in IT
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible to changes in routine and agenda - with a flexible approach to monitoring outside of normal working hours
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own but also as part of a team
  • Confidence and ability in liaising at all levels of the business including upper management
  • Resilient personality
