Business Analyst

Ipswich, Suffolk (Flexible working)

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

This is a newly created Business Analyst role for a software company who are looking to bolster their team as they continue to grow and bring on more customers.

This new Business Analyst role is ultimately to help with providing the link between the business departments and to provide that consistency in communication and requirements being managed and developed through the whole lifecycle. You'll be working between lots of different areas including tech, non-tech, users and customers and there's no-one doing this role currently, so you'll have an element of autonomy to your role and the opportunity to embed some structure.

Your duties and responsibilities will be quite varied due to the nature of the role, from hands on, working with the development team on translating user stories into clear deliverables and supporting the product team on the backlogs through to helping shape and improve how the business can grow and develop over a longer period.

Experience wise, we're looking for someone with proven experience in either a BA or Product Owner role and who understands the full SDLC. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modelling and documentation is expected, and you'll also need to be familiar with Jira as this is a key tool you'll be using.
