REED Technology have a fantastic opportunity with a well-established Edinburgh-based Fin-Tech business who are looking to bolster their data team with the addition of a Power BI Developer.

This role can be carried out remotely, although candidate who can travel to their Edinburgh office semi-regularly would be preferred. This company offer a range of fantastic benefits, including a 10% employer salary contribution and up to a 10% yearly bonus, this isn't an opportunity to be missed.

The successful candidate will join their data team looking after BI and data solutions, data quality, data governance and knowledge management. This company adopts an Agile approach to work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop their BI stack which involves sourcing data using APIs, data transformation and development in SQL Server, creating OLAP cubes, Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports.

• Maintain existing data framework and solutions, making sure the data in their tools is accurate and timely

• Work as part of a DevOps team
  
• Share in Agile ceremonies to prepare their backlog, manage their commitments and celebrate what went well

• Collaborate closely with the business and other teams to understand requirements

• Peer review and test colleagues' work

• Provide data insight.

Skills Required:

• Strong working experience with SQL

• Experience building ETL processes

• Experience developing reports or dashboards

• Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
