IT Support & Application Analyst

REPORTING TO IT Manager

SALARY: 25k

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all business applications in use at the company. The role entails helpdesk and application support, report writing and liaising with users and third parties. You will assist with scope requirements, configure functionality, provide training and support for all business applications, including the production of any new SQL Report Builder.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support and proactively maintain the core business applications

• Manage databases (MS SQL) and Report Builder

• Ensure security of key applications and data

• Manage project implementation of applications upgrade when required

• Provide functional user application training when required

• Liaise with 3rd parties to implement and maintain the business applications

• Maintain inventories and all documentation for the core business applications

• Provide technical support to Mac & Windows Users

• Working as part of a team to implement system configurations

• Work on any helpdesk assigned issues

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Good communications and analytical skills

• Strong team player, fast learner and adaptable

• Experience in diagnostics and solution of problems

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL Reports

• 1 st Line Support Experience

• Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

• Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and willing to participate in other support tasks

Desirable

• Experience of supporting finance systems

• Knowledge of accounting processes

• SQL query building

• Experience with Access Dimensions and adDepot

• VMware and Active Directory

• Exposure to Apple Macs

• Conversational Spanish
