A growing data team whose MI and reporting have a direct impact on the wider business decisions.

The role of Data Analyst is really important to our client. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders across the business to produce commercial management information which will be used to provide internal teams with valuable performance data and support in strategic decision making.

This role will be based in the Cardiff office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

  • Working with the various stakeholder to develop, review and define MI reports to meet business needs.
  • Work with Excel and SAS to create, automate, evolve and communicate routine and ad hoc data sets, leading on sensitive, complex and change related commercial data, reporting and analytics,, enabling leaders to make informed decisions
  • Offer a proactive service to stakeholders to offer improvements the reporting services whilst build strong, collaborative relationships.

What do we expect of you?

  • Evidence of advanced excel skills, with demonstratable experience using pivot tables, graphs, calculations and automation to efficiently process large and relevant quantities of data.
  • Experienced coding in SAS that can be used to develop datasets and improve current processes such as automation of reports.
  • Present data in a manner that can be understood by all audiences and assisting in the interpretation of results to stakeholders
