Our client:

Mail Order/Direct Marketing Company

They are a privately-owned company marketing products directly to consumers via mail order media advertising and digital channels. Their products are ever-changing as they respond to trends, consumer demand and headline events. They have an extensive range of products including jewellery, coins, and collector memorabilia.

They are based in Chessington, Surrey; easily accessible from the M25, A3 or by public transport. Central London is just a short train ride away.

Key purpose of the role:

This hybrid role consists of a combination of Network/Helpdesk/Cloud service support and Business application and development including ERP programming and administration.

Essential IT Functions, Skills, and Knowledge

Deployment, installation and ongoing support of computer hardware and software
1st / 2nd line Helpdesk support for our client’s UK associates in the office and remotely
Setting up new users
Build and rollout IT security awareness programs and initiatives
Support IT management in the delivery of new systems and projects to enhance our client’s infrastructure
Participate as required in incident management and response in a timely manner
Extend knowledge of server and desktop hardware support and deployment
Microsoft on premise Active directory services administration
Extend Knowledge of Cloud systems and platforms
Extend Knowledge of networking configuration and troubleshooting
Support of LAN, WAN & Wireless and Telephony networking technologies
Build, support, and administer our client’s virtualised infrastructure
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business

MBI Business Systems Support and Development

Maintain the current ERP solutions, develop, maintain existing programs and business reports as per business requirements
Undertake and learn new technologies to support and ensure the smooth transition of the business solutions
Take on any new business-related projects as they arise and in accordance with our client’s IT strategy.

Hyper VM, RDS virtualisation architecture
Active Directory admin, DNS, and MS Azure technologies
Microsoft Exchange

Forcepoint email cloud security
Mange Engine device patching
Unifi Wi-Fi Access points
Bespoke ERP business application
M365 Admin portals
Intune MDM enrolment
KnowBe4 Security awareness platform
Cisco Firewalls and routers
Sophos XG firewall including IPsec and SSI VPN
MFA administration
Sophos endpoint Antivirus
Sophos Central

Training

Internal and External training will be provided.

Additional Duties

To work additional hours as required by the company to resolve critical system problems and planned out of hours system maintenance and enhancements.
