Make a real difference to the digital transformation of Santander, helping its customers and businesses prosper. You will work with multiple business areas to understand their requirements for operational communications, champion prioritisation, and work with IT on the design and control model, ensuring governance is completed throughout.
You will deliver digital first communications, in line with our goal to be a responsible and sustainable business. A key contributor for Santander strategic operational communication system, ensuring technical priorities are highlighted on behalf of COO. You will deliver on the prioritised migration plans to remove all legacy communication systems and migrate the communications across to the strategic system.
The difference you'll make.
Managing and empowering a high performing team, enabling them to meet critical demands and deliver to tight deadlines with accuracy
Driving the development of Santander's strategic Operational Communication tool regularly reviewing technical needs and champion the prioritisation of them at CCM domain strategy meetings, taking accountability for user story documentations to ensure the right solution is delivered.
Building strong relationships across the CCM domain to ensure business targets and WAVE initiatives are achieved as per the agreed plans
Providing SME service for multiple Product Owners across San UK to understand the need for communicating with customers and influencing decisions moving towards a fully digital (email, SMS, push) mode of communication
Ensuring frequent review of communication Risks and work across San Services to complete actions that reduce the severity or mitigate the risk.
Acting as representative for Santander Operations in key meetings, making decisions on behalf of the San Ops business.
What you'll bring.
Previous management or SME knowledge of a communication system (preferably CCM)
Experience of working with IT on complex architecture/designs and designing control models to support new functionality
It would also be nice for you to have.
Management of a high performing technical team
Experience managing multiple user cases/projects, ranging from simple to complex simultaneously, continuously delivering and aligning to governance and control models
Knowledge of ORA's and identifying, assessing, managing and reporting risk
Knowledge of Agile methodology, user stories, JIRA, Confluence
What else you need to know.
Fulltime, flexible but mainly in core hours to support product owners/internal customers. Occasional out of hours to support pre-arranged deployments. Bradford with travel to sites for specific meetings where required.
