Location: Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 3DL – Office based.
Salary: Attractive salary and Benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 8.30am – 4.50pm (Monday to Friday)

IT Support Manager- Responsibilities:

An excellent career opportunity exists for a generalist IT Support Manager to takeover hands-on responsibility as the No1 IT person on site, and grow with the company in the future.

You will manage and provide full day to day support for the company’s overall IT Systems, including PCs, servers, communications, printers, networked lab systems, security, daily backups, software rollout, training etc.

Database administration, reports & workflows are an essential part of the role, along with experience of manipulating data using integrated software such as SharePoint, PowerBI or Report Server being desirable.

Reporting to management, you will ensure systems and processes adhere to IT policy and requirements, ensuring compliance across the business, liaising with third parties, including auditors, providers and an external IT helpdesk for escalations as needed.  

IT Support Manager - Skills & Experience:

You must be a proactive, personable IT professional, able to work with responsible autonomy, organisation and collaboratively with all cross functional colleagues.

The successful candidate will likely have a several years of all-round company IT systems management experience or equally be an exceptional candidate with IT experiences and high potential who is ready to take a career development step-up into an internal IT Support Managers role.

You be well versed in Windows Microsoft suite, SQL server, cloud backup systems and general troubleshooting, besides networking, firewalls and cyber security best practices.

Any additional expertise of planning and delivering IT projects including system upgrades and migrations will be advantageous.
