Your mission: To provide application development support to enhance core business systems and applications. You'll be an integral part of a professional team and will be responsible for all aspects of application software support.
Your key responsibilities: Managing / responding to Application Support tickets for core systems in suitable timescales, where appropriate debugging to perform triage on tickets to reduce burden on technical resources. Collaborating with fellow team members and business colleagues, you'll be liaising with the team on tickets. There will be additional involvements on Sprint deliverables based on workload.
Title: Application Support Developer (C#, .NET) / Junior Developer.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 pa + generous leave, pension & other benefits.
Start Date: ASAP.
Location: Flexible Working, likely to be 3 days a week from the office in nr Edinburgh and 2 days from home, open to discussion.
About you: With a deep interest in technology plus a desire to learn, you'll have a Batchelors Degree, but training will be provided, however you'll have some competency with C#, Visual Studio IDE, .Net development & messaging formats (Xml / JSON), plus basic understanding of application architectures. Any experience in SQL / Microsoft SSMS is highly desired.
However you must have an ability to learn fast 'on the job', and be able to consume a lot of detailed information. You'll need clear written and verbal communication along with an aptitude for multi-tasking & an ability to work unsupervised, asking insightful questions when required.
