This is an exciting new role for someone to come in and run the day to day operational elements of the support and infrastructure department. The ideal candidate is likely to be someone working as a hands on support or helpdesk team lead who is interested in progressing to the next stage of their career.
The role will be based in Dublin CC but will interact with a number of other offices around the globe. You'll lead a fluid team of 4-6 engineers and report into a US based senior manager. As well as being the helpdesk leader you'll also be the senior escalation point for L2/L3 technical issues.
My client are also looking for someone who can try to bring a more automated focus to their support and operations environment. Someone with some Powershell skills would be ideally. They want someone to bring new ideas to the table and help them streamline their processes and improve response times.
It's a really good time to join this organisation. They want to double the size of their Dublin operation and Ireland over time will become their technical engineering hub where this person can have a real influence.
Desired Technical Skills:
- Excellent desktop support and helpdesk experience
- 1-2 years team leadership
- Office 365
- JIRA (Azure DevOps experience would also be a big plus)
- Very strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
