Business Analyst - Software - South Oxfordshire

Avanti Recruitment is working with a successful software house in South Oxfordshire to recruit a Business Analyst to join their team.

You will work with clients and key stakeholders to elicit business requirements, understand complex business problems and turn the underlying business needs into functional requirements documents for the software development team. We are looking for a Business Analyst who has used a variety of techniques to gather and analyse requirements including running workshops with stakeholders. You work with internal development teams and ensure the customers’ requirements are conveyed correctly and manage the ongoing relationship with the client including preventing scope creep.

They are a Microsoft partner who specialise in developing web applications for a broad range of clients. They have some products but often they will develop something new to meet the individual clients needs and this is why they need an experienced BA who can ask the right questions and ideally has worked on greenfield projects before not just customising CRM / ERP for internal systems. Most of the requirements workshops are done at their office and they invite the clients to join them there.

To be considered you will have a proven track record as a Business Analyst with at least 3 years’ experience gathering and analysing software related requirements. You will ideally have worked with Agile processes (they use Scrum and Kanban) and have excellent skills in analysing and documenting the underlying client needs.
