Java Developer- Tier 1 Investment Bank- London City, 12 Month Contract.

The Role.

I am actively recruiting for a Java Developer on behalf of a leading London based Investment Bank.

Due to the success of this project and growth of the Bank, they will be looking to hire a number of Java Developers.

You will be an experienced Java Developer who possesses a strong numerical grounding and does have good experience of algorithms.

This is an opportunity to work within a high-performing team, this role is part of a multi-year initiative to develop a new bespoke pricing platform.

It's worth mentioning, the hiring manager would be open in speaking to C++ Developers who are keen to cross-train to Java. So, they are more than happy to train the developer if needs be, should they have some of the key skills below.

Key Skills/Experience-:

Core Java - low-level programming (Low Latency)
Essential- Numerate degree (Computer Science, Mathematics etc.)
Front office experience
Interest rates/ Pricing experience- Highly Desirable
You have a keen interest in Financial products (i.e. FX and Rates)
Excellent communication skills
Worked within an Agile environment

This role is London based (remote for now) and paying between £800-850 per day (inside IR35).
