People Source Consulting have a fantastic Cloud Engineer opportunity for a company who create market leading SaaS cloud-based tech which provide analytical and insight date to the retail market. The company are based in Central Manchester, but due to the current situation regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, this role will be 100% remote for the foreseeable future. The interview process will also be carried out remotely.

Working as part of a dynamic team, this role will involve building and maintaining deployment pipelines, critical infrastructure as code, and shipping software releases for both business facing and internal applications.

It's a role for someone who can bring an understanding of both an infrastructure AND a software development environment. You must have strong cloud experience (Azure, GCP or AWS) as well as good skills in software development/programming.

The right candidate will have a keen awareness of the systems and software required to deliver complex analytics and applications using open source and cloud platforms. You will need to have experience of infrastructure as code / DevOps, including with one or more of the major cloud providers. You will be aware of and have experience with containerisation, creating continuous delivery pipelines and using infrastructure automation tools.

To be considered for this role you will need:

* A good understanding of software development and knowledge of at least one programming language
* Experience in building and deploying cloud infrastructure for GCP and Azure using Terraform
* Experience with both Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience building CI/CD Pipelines
* Experience with both Linux and Windows Server operating systems

On top of your salary, you will receive 25 days leave plus your birthday off, a great bonus scheme and a flexible benefits package. On the last Friday of the month the whole company finish at 2pm, and 4pm on all other Fridays.
