Overview

Our Manchester-based Client is a high-growth SaaS company headquartered in Manchester. They serve some of the largest companies globally, from Start-ups to Fortune 500, utilising their market-leading product comparison & pricing technology.

Role Profile

  • Develop expert knowledge of the company's solutions, market and client industries (ecommerce, marketplaces, etc.)
  • Individually prospect to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline from scratch.
  • Own a new Enterprise bookings target of 500,000 in the first 12 months
  • Convert warm inbound leads and outbound leads generated by the Sales Development team
  • As necessary to meet and exceed the target, prospect directly into key accounts via email, phone and LinkedIn outreach
  • Own the prospect journey from exploratory calls through to discovery, demonstration, quotation, negotiation and closing
  • Quickly build rapport and trust with prospects via email, phone and Zoom calls (and in person when this becomes practical again.)
  • Be comfortable speaking with confidence and credibility to business owners and executives
  • Get up to speed and become an authority on our product as well as eCommerce and pricing generally
  • Deal with companies ranging from SMEs to large enterprises
  • Propose and quote for complex solutions according to prospect requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up to date CRM records
  • Report directly to the Head of Sales

Person Profile

  • You will have a spark, a flair for selling technology
  • Experience owning and achieving a six-figure bookings target
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles
  • Experience positioning complex solutions to clients
  • Experience selling to the C-suite, VP and Director level in large enterprise
  • Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills
  • You will be exceptionally productive with an impeccable work ethic and a desire to succeed professionally and financially
  • Previous experience in SaaS sales
  • Previous sales experience in ecommerce, retail, data analytics, business intelligence, and/or digital pricing solutions
  • Strong relationships with individuals and companies in ecommerce, retail, distribution etc
  • Experience owning and achieving annual new business sales targets in excess of 100k
  • Experience positioning complex solutions to prospects
  • Experience selling to businesses (B2B)
  • Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude
