IT Support Technician
Location: Eastbourne, BN22 9AN
Salary: £23K - £25K per annum, DOE
Contract: Full time, permanent, 39 hours per week

We are an employee orientated, professional and safety conscious organisation based in Eastbourne and we are now recruiting an IT Support Technician, ideally with some knowledge of basic mechanical engineering.
About the IT Support Technician role:
You will report to the Site IT Lead and together you will ensure that all users get the maximum from our hardware, networking and software.
The Eastbourne site has around 90 employees utilising a broad range of hardware, networking and software with integrations across multiple global sites.
The software systems are critical to our success and as our IT Support Technician your role will be to help resolve any IT issues and assist with software improvements.
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:
- Previous experience in a similar IT Support Technician role.
- A high level of competency in IT technical skills IT including PCs, Windows 10 and Office 365, Microsoft Teams and video conferencing, wired and wireless LAN networks, XML software integration processes, cloud services etc.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Team working and flexibility as some out of hours work may be required.
It would be great if you had experience with:
- ESXi vSphere VM technology
- Centralised backup systems
- Windows Server
- Cisco/Meraki and networking protocols
