M69 are looking to recruit an extremely important member of a small but growing team.

Established in 2003, M69 are a small friendly software development business, developing innovative solutions utilising Microsoft technologies. M69 are in the process of launching an exciting SaaS product, which has strong growth potential. This opportunity would suit a front-end developer, looking to get more back-end development experience, or a back-end developer with strong front-end skills.

The ideal candidate should match or exceed the following criteria.

Please note: A university degree is not a requirement, as M69 recognise the value in practical experience as well as academic achievement.

Required skills and experience

  • Proven front-end skills (strong HTML/CSS plus some Javascript)

  • Back-end web development, with at least some experience using C# in ASP.Net

  • Basic understanding of SQL

  • Strong problem solving ability

  • Excellent time keeping

  • Ability to work without supervision

  • Ability to use available resources to learn new skills/techniques as required to achieve a goal

  • Willingness to get involved in different aspects of the business

  • Clear communication essential (writing reports, emailing clients, explaining technical things to non-technical people on phone and email)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Systems administration experience – primarily Windows based systems, but some Linux

  • .Net Development using Umbraco CMS

  • Digital Marketing (SEO/PPC) experience

  • Design/Photoshop experience


  • Salary of £20,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience

  • 37.5 hours per week (9 - 5:30 as standard, but flexible working possible)

  • Working from home an option (when up to speed)

  • 20 days holiday (+ bank holidays) plus one additional day per full year of service (no more than 25 max in total)

  • Pension contributions in-line with the “Auto Enrolment” requirements set out in the Pensions Act 2008
